Some vets will make house calls. It is best to call the clinics in your area before you have a pet emergency. The receptionist will be able to tell you.

Some vets do make house calls, the best way to find out if a local vet does make house calls is to check your local directory. You can usually call the emergency clinics and they can tell you as well.

I worked at a Veterinary Hospital that dealt with large and small animals. They would obviously visit their large animal clients. However if we had a small animal client that had difficulty bringing their pet into the hospital we would try to accomodate them and go to their house.

Most vets do not make house calls but there are always exceptions to this rule. Contact you're local vets and explain the situation and ask if they would be willing to come to your house. Expect to pay an additional fee for this service.

It depends on your area. Sometimes vets will have a pick up and drop off service. If your dog is very sick, you should make arraingements for your pet to go to the vet before he/she gets more sick. If you can call vets in the area maybe you will find one that can come to you.

I have a bullmastiff and I have found had the same problems. I call a mobile vet who is great! They are charge for the house call which runs from 100-150. 00 plus whatever test needed. It is a great way you get what you pay for. Good luck!
