If you are home canning beans such as lima beans or black eyed peas then you should certainly use iodine salt when canning them. You can use about one teaspoon for every quart of beans being canned. Many other beans, however, do not require the extra salt due to their naturally high iodine content.

You can, but it's better to use pickling or canning salt if you must salt. The only effect the iodine will have is to discolor your beans. If you're going to all the trouble to can, why would you want your beans to become a funny color?

When canning any food, you should not use iodized salt. Canning salt it specially formulated for canning. Iodized salt is best suited for table use. When used for canning, it turns the liquid a cloudy color. Canning salt does not do this.

When home canning beans you can use iodine salt as well as kosher salt. The iodine in the salt does not effect the beans nor does it effect the canning process. Salt does not have to be used in the canning process it is merely added to enhance the flavor.

No, you do not. Iodized salt can cause odd chemical reactions when canning things such as beans, carrots, etc. The best thing to use is canning salt. It's relatively inexpensive and can usually be found at any grocery store. If there isn't any at your local market you can usually find it at farmer's markets or online.

Adding iodised salt won't harm the product, but canned beans may become cloudy and there can be a layer of calcium silicate crystals at the bottom of the canning container.

No. You always use salt rated for canning. This applies to all canning, not just beans. Iodized salt can spoil your canned foods.
