Hydroxy acids help speed-up the skin's exfoliation, and the new skin underneath will have a younger and fresher look! It is very important to use sunscreen after exfoliating your skin as the new tender skin underneath is more vulnerable to sun damage!

Alpha-hydroxy acids help the skin to renew itself. Your skin appears to be in better condition because between a scrub and the acids to break down the dead cells you will see new skin, but as with anything over use can cause severe irritation. Your best option is to find a skin regimen that you will stick to.

Hydroxy acids increase moisture in the skin and also help to slough off dead skin cells. In this way, most skin can temporarily look a bit younger. Everyone's skin is different, so the results will vary greatly on an individual basis.

They have been used for many years to help with smoother skin. Your best bet is to try it. If you like the results, it's worth the money.
