Yes Polycystic Ovarian syndrome often coincides with massive migraines in women. Birth control pills are a popular therapy for the pain. Its a personal choice of the patient to continue or discontinue the birth control meds.

Yes. PCOS is Polycystic Ovary Disease, and it affects your hormones. The hormones in birth control regulate your hormones, thus reducing symptoms like migraines.

Yes, they can. Birth control will control the amount of the horomone estrogen which is what causes those painful symptoms around your time of the month. So with the estrogen under control you won't experiance as many painful migraines related to the PCOS.

If you doctor feels you migranes are caused by hormones he may decide this is a preventive alternitive for you. However, birth control can also make you headaches worse so you need to be careful. There are many traditional treatments you can decide on which will help you also so I would sugget talking to your family doctor.
