Do ab workout machines really work?

Ab workout machines are different. In general, they do work your abs but they're not really any better than traditional ab exercises that you can do without a machine. It's also a problem that ab machines make you do the same exercise over and over, and ab work is better with a variety of exercises.

It depends on your definition of "work. " They work, in that they will exercise your abs, and using them is better than not exercising at all. However, free weight exercises like weighted sit-ups, knee-ups, and hanging leg raises are much better for your abs. Also, they don't reduce belly fat. A good diet is the most important factor for that.

Yes they work! If you follow and proper diet and have a balance workout plan. A plan that encompasses cardio and strength training.

From my experience they really do. I bought an ab slider and I love it, it took me a while to recooperate after I first used it. There's a few products on the market now that look they'd be more fun though, a spiny kind of stool (it's red) and one where you're at an angle and move your hips
