Could my motorcycle have low power due to rectifier problem?

My motorcycle has low power issues.

Yes it can. If the bikes ignition system is DC powered and runs off battery power a rectifier problem will affect performance.

Yes it could, but often the first check is simply to make sure your battery is charging and holding a charge. Then you can have the charging system tested.

Motorcycle batteries, like cars, run on Direct Current. This is different than the electrical current in your house, which is Alternating Current. Rectifiers change D/C to A/C, or vice-versa. Because of the difference between the two, motorcycles only need a steady supply of D/C. Motorcycles are not equipped with rectifiers.

This is usually combined with the rectifier. I was figuring that by driving it slowly for an ample amount of time might be draining the battery.

try to checkup the ff: cdi is it working if they have one, battery, ignition coilturn to high resistance, timing chain worn out, and stator coil. thats it...... more power renz of davao
