Can you use "lumbering" in a sentence?

There are two ways this can be used in a sentence. "Jack carried on lumbering. " could mean he was cutting down trees for his lumber business, or it could mean he kept moving with a heavy, slow gait.

In the sense of moving heavily and clumsily: The drowsy bear was lumbering through the forest. In the sense of cutting down trees: Canada has an old lumbering industry.
