Typically there are many after-market companies that build bagger systems for riding lawn mowers. Your lawn mower brand will also sell a bagging system which will usually fit the best, but it will be the most expensive. If you don't mind a few aggravations from time to time then buy an after-market one.

Usually, most lawnmower parts are built only for the lawn mower that their made for. However, there are some parts that will interchange. Most hardware stores like Lowes have part reference sheets and books that will help you see whether or not a particular part will work with your mower.

Yes your bagger can be a different brand, but you need to insure that it was designed to fit your model of riding mower.
