Can you make yogurt out of goat milk?

Answer by  jillou (114)

Yes, and it's easy. You need dried bacterial cultures, or plain yogurt with live cultures. Pour a quart of goat's milk into the pan and heat until nearly boiling. Cool quickly to 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Add two tablespoons yogurt culture. Stir well. Maintain temperature until thickened. You can keep on the heat, put in jar, wrap and leave in sun.
