Put a key in the ignition, and turn forward all the way just before cranking. Then within 5 second press and hold in the valet button until the light blinks in that area

Usually problems with car alarm systems are because something is wrong with grounding. Double check that every ground wires are properly connected and that any signal line is not accidentally grounded. More than likely it's a power issue. If it's remote control the battery in the remote may need to be replaced. Don't start tearing the thing apart until you go over the basics.

If you have a hornet alarm system, and I don't know how to stop the alarm? Cut the speaker wire with a knife that would stop sounding.
