The quick answer is yes, but in reality grape seeds do not germinate easily. The most often used method of growing grapes is from bare root plants. You will need some specific products if you decide to try seeds, such as gibberellic acid - GA3. You will also need to alternate temperatures and control the amount of light.

Though possible, it's rare. Seed-grown grapes often don't resemble the parents. Also commercial grapes are usually grafted on strong root stock, for strength and resistance to disease.

While it's possible to grow grapevines from seeds, most growers start with cuttings. That provides more assurance of the quality of the plant. In addition, most vineyards use parts of different types of grapes -- grafting the roots of one to the branches of another, for example -- because that offers more protection against disease.

I started three grape vines from seeds, and they look very healthy; however, this is the third year, and I haven't seen any grapes on them yet. Are they ever going to fruit for me?
