Stains on grout can be difficult but not impossible. I would use either limeaway or a product containing bleach such as soft scrub or ajax. Use gloves and protective eyewear especially with the limeaway. Make sure the window is open for fresh air because the smell can be overwhelming. Use a scrub brush to get into the grout.

I would start out with any type of bleach. Comet seems to work the best for mine. If that doesnt work, try oxyclean in powder form.

Grout stains can sometimes be difficult to remove. Try a grout stain cleaner, clean with a scrubbing brush, toothbrush, or washcloth, You'll have to scrub hard in order to remove the stains. If this does not work, it may be set in stains. If all cleaners fail at the job, you may have to regrout the area.

Make a mixture of 1 cup baking soda, 2 cups water and 10 - 12 drops of liquid dish washing detergent, scrub grout with a sponge or old toothbrush.

You can try using a hard bristle tooth brush or a metal bristle grill cleaner. Mix water, Ajax, and a tiny bit of dish soap together, pour on grout lines, let soak for a minute and scrub. Then use a grout sealer to prevent more stains.

Using equal parts of vinegar and water in a spray bottle, spray grout and scrub in circular motions. Using a toothbrush, or a slightly stiffer brush can help dramatically. You can also form a paste with baking soda and water and scrub with the brush. Steam cleaners work well on tougher stains. Bleach also work nicely.
