All you need for a White Russian is ice, vodka, Kahlua (or any coffee liquer) and milk or cream. Fill a glass with ice, add 2oz vodka and 1.5oz Kahlua then fill the glass with milk/cream. Stir or shake and serve. Best when shaken.

One part kahlua, one part vodka, 2 to 3 parts milk or cream and ice. You don't have to buy the brand names to make this drink good. You can give it the layered effect by pouring the vodka over ice, then the milk then the kahlua or mix it all together and it tastes like chocolate milk.

A White Russian is 1.5 ounces vodka, .75 ounces Kahlua and .75 ounces milk (or cream). Mix the vodka and Kahlua, pour over ice, and then add the milk.
