Can you give me some ideas for a bar/bat mitzvah gift (other than cash) from an aunt and uncle?

We are not able to attend the service or the party.

Close family and relatives of the child will usually give Judaic gifts. For others, there are no "traditional" gifts, so the best idea is to give a gift that any usual 13-year-old would enjoy. Examples include an iPod, digital camera, clothing, or a gift certificate to let them choose exactly what they would like.

I would look into maybe getting him a gift card of some sort. Maybe a gift card to Game Stop or an itunes gift card.
