Can you give me a review of a LG rear projection tv?

Rear projections are a pain. You have to replace the bulb. You can get just as big of a screen with a LG plasma or LED. They aren't worth the money quality wise. Rear projection is on it's way out while newer and better technology is on it's way in. Stay with the current types.

Normally rear projection TVs are excellent. They require more maintance but you can't beat the picture. However, LG brand TV's are never the way to go and Consumer Reports will back that theory up. They got one of the lowest ratings for being so unreliable, if you're going to get a rear projection, get another brand.

Seems like they have had a lot of problems and trobles in the past as to the projection on th tv, and the cleaning of the insides of the tv
