4 cups rolled oats (not quick cooking), 1 cup sliced almonds, 1/2 cup shredded coconut, 1/4 cup unsalted pumpkin/sunflower seeds, 1/2 cup maple syrup, 2 tablespoons canola oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 cup dried fruit. On rimmed baking sheet, toss all ingredients except dried fruit. Bake at 350°, tossing once, 25-30 minutes. Add dried fruit, toss to combine. Let cool.

I am an avid backpacker and require easy snacks on the go. I enjoy granola bars but find them lacking in flavor. To get around this problem I break the granola up, mix in some dried fruit, and add honey to the mixture. After doing so i spread it on a cookie sheet and let dry(or oven bake)to make bars.

Toast some oats and rye flakes, rice flakes, oat flakes and add as many different nuts and seeds as you like. Mix through dried fruit and serve with milk.

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in skillet. Add 2 cups rolled oats. Cook and stir about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Spread on cookie sheet to cool. Melt 1/3 cup butter. Stir in 2 tablespoons honey and 1/3 cup packed brown sugar. Cook till bubbly. Add oats. Cook and stir 5 minutes. Spread on cookie sheet. When cooled, add almonds.
