Rome is one of the most historic cities in the world with ancient ruins, museums, and the Vatican. Venice has canals and gondolas, and Pisa has the leaning tower. Florence is a center for art, and Milan is for fashion.
In my opinion she should go to Rome, where she will be able to visit the Coliseum, the Vatican museam, the Trastever neighboorhod and of course the Fountain of Trevi.
