Yes! Klonopin is often given to dogs for anxiety related disorders or to control seizure disorders. It works much the same way in canines as it does in humans and needs to be taken as prescribed.

Klonopin is a drug often times used to treat anxiety and even seizure or panic disorders. Although the FDA does not necessarily say that is safe for animals to ingest. It is a relatively safe drug and is sometimes prescribed by vets to dogs.

You should check with your veterinarian before giving any medications to your dog. If your dog is having a problem, take them to the vet and see they can help. So overanxious dogs do need medication, but you should check with a professional first.

Klonopin can be given to dogs in order to control certain types of seizures. It can only be obtained from a veterinarian or by prescription from a veterinarian.

Since klonipin is a medication meant for humans, you need to use extreme caution before using it on a dog. Consult with your vet before giving any new medication to your dog.
