Lets say you smoke 10 a day. Plan on 10 months. Month one, smoke 10 every day. Month two, smoke 9 every day, etc. COUNT them out every morning and don't cheat, cause you'll be cheating yourself. Remember Rome wasn't built in a day; be gentle with yourself and patient.

Anyone can cut back on smoking, although it is hard. Smoking less will improve your lung function and reduce your risk for lung cancer and emphasema.

That depends upon the individual. Some people are able to limit their consumption. More often, smoking one cigarette simply causes you to crave more.

Of course there are benefits to cutting back on smoking. You can totally cut back and I as a fellow smoker would recommend doing this.
