Can you assist with troubleshooting a new Bettle five speed GLS?

My transmission in my 5 speed seems to be slipping and I need help determining what the problem is.

This seems to be a problem with the pressure plate in the clutch. Another reason could be a problem with the flywheel. Check the transmission fluids. Are you changing them frequently? The best solution could be provided by a car repair show so go there and check it out as they can only tell you the exact problem.

This is most likely due to the pressure plate in the clutch, or it could be the flywheel, most came with a sub par dual mass flywheel.

the clutch and flywheel might not be contacting each other as desired or with enough force. make sure all transmission fluids are up to OEM standard. if there is a distinct burning smell when driving then the clutch is slipping

It sounds like it could be the automatic clutch going on you. If it is a stick it is your slave cylinder.

The BEttle five speed is quite the meance when it comes to trouble shooting. This is mainly due to the instructions being German, if you don't speak it. It is often cryptic in nature.

It is almost certainly the clutch. The clutch is the only link between the engine and the transmission on a manual transmission car.

You will probably need to replace your transmission. You seem to be having jumping problems and this must be fixed.
