Sarcoptic mange ( Sarcoptes scabiei var suis ) is the most consequential form of mange that pigs can get. Pigs usually get mange after one infected animal is introduced, or when they are kept in a pen with mites, and it spreads rapidly. Pigs with mange will lose weight and develop sores.

yes, pigs can get mange the same as a dog or any other animal. It's not about the animal itself, they all have very similar skin. It's the mange itself--it is very adaptable. It is best to treat it as mange and it should clear up soon

Yes. Pigs can get mange but it is only a particular type of mange. It is called swine mange or the scientific name Sarcoptes Scabiei Var.

Yes, pigs cannot get mange because "mange", in french means to eat. Mange is not a disease. Even if mange was a disease, a pig probably will not get it because pigs have quite a sturdy immune system. Pigs are resilient creatures; they eat almost anything and their stomachs are used to bacteria.
