A cup egg poacher can be used to cook a variety of things. Along with poaching eggs, it can be used to make toast, muffins, biscuits, or English Muffins . It can be used to make small pies. Pies can be made with rolled out pastry dough and jam. Also, it can be useful for reheating small portions of food.

You can use an egg poacher for cooking biscuits, tarts and small pies as the size of the cups is just right for these. Another use for this kitchen item is to contain baby food as it is heated up.

Unfortunately, you really can't cook much in them. If you like to have a poacher, some egg cookers come with poaching dishes. One gadget, although not the one you have.

If you do not have a microwave muffin pan you can use the egg poacher in order to make muffins.
