Can I tell my ex-husband's boss he is a convicted felon?

My ex did not tell his boss this and lied on the application.

If you didn't bring it up when it served you for your ex to have a job, you cannot justify bringing it up now. Clearly, you are interested in vengeance, which could land you in all kinds of trouble visavis a lawsuit. Mind your own business.

I think you have to consider what your own motivation would be for doing this. Do you get along with your ex? If he is a security risk for this company, then you probably should do it but you have to be aware of what this could lead to.

You oculd tell your ex husband's boss, but only if you want him to lose his job. Your ex husband got the job without them doing a background check. If you make him lose his job, your ex husband will be very angry with you. Is that what you want?

There is no law mandating that you keep this information to yourself. However, it is very petty and could ultimately be used against you in future divorce, alimony, child support or other proceedings as evidence of malice against your ex-husband.

You sure can. But should you? Consider what you want to accomplish, and whether the potentially destructive consequences are worth it. Jobs are hard to get right now.
