Can I pull apart an a/c compressor on a van to replace bearings with the system charged ?

It's a 2000 Dodge Caravan.

No, you cannot. The system pressure must be released before working on the compressor bearings. You can severely injure yourself when working on a pressurized system- you can literally freeze your fingers off. In addition, venting the pressure to the open air is illegal and can net you a hefty fine.

No you cannot take apart the compressor to replace a bearing when the system is still charged with r134a which is the chemical running through your A/C system. You must eveacuate the sytem to change the compressor on any vehicle.

Absolutely not. Not only is it a horrible idea- you will most likely injure yourself- it's also illegal and could get you a hefty fine from the EPA. R-134 is a dangerous chemical, don't play around with it.
