If you have the cash to build a wind generator on your property, I don't see why not. However, you will need building permits and check with the local government agencies.

You would have to install a windmill a mile above your house and that would cause damage to your home because of the weight. This is nonproductive.

and at that point you will begin to interfere with air traffic, and then the FAA is going to come down on you like a ton of bricks.

As long as you own the property and there are no association or city rules against it, yes. There are different size windmills available to use for electricity now. They can either be put in the ground or attached to the roof.

The windmills are energy generators, so if they are installed they may reduce energy bills.Wind mill is the thing which needs a vast area for installation and they should be placed in such an area where the flow of air is continuously available.

Yes you could have a windmill installed on your property , but you need to figure the cost the maintence and how large a area you would need for the placement.
