Separate 1 fresh egg for each 1 cup serving. Beat thoroughly with electric mixer: 1 jigger bourbon whiskey, 2 teaspoons sugar, 1 egg yolk until light yellow. Beat egg white with 1 more teaspoon sugar until peaks form, then fold in 1/2 cup heavy cream. Stir into whiskey mixture lightly. Serve in punch cups. Sprinkle with freshly grated nutmeg.

Eggnog isn't as difficult as it sounds. You should begin with milk and heavy cream. Don't forget to add your raw eggs. Add cinnamon and alcohol and your recipe is complete.
