Can I change my own Winnebago tires?

The tires on my RV have gone bad, do I need a professional to change them?

You can change them yourself but it requires special tools and a high pressure air compressor. You would probably spend more on the tools than paying the professional.

You can change them yourself if you have two RV jacks. You need to jack up both the front and the back at the same time.

Yes a professional is needed. I believe you could "change" the tires but you would be unable to get the old tire off the rim and the new on on.

Yes, you need a professional to lift up a the RV because of the weight it would dangerous and risky to do it your self. Hopefully the tires are still good and you can drive it to an RV shop because having them come to you will expensive.

No, you don't have to have a professional change them. It's not any different than changing the tires on your car. Just make sure you have the correct tires.

If you can jack the RV up, without it falling down, I would do it. I would get another person to help you. One of the things I wouldn't do is get under the RV for any reason, in case it might fall off the jack. If you don't feel comfortable, take it to a service station.

While you do not need to have a pro. change out your tires it would be a very good idea. If your tires have gotten to that point the probability of things like alignment and brakes needed inspection are great. The RV'rs worst nightmare is a breakdown.
