For new chimney fittings it is important to look at the old ones first. If there is mortar "crusting" out of the cracks between the bricks then it is important to this issue with new mortar. For if the mortar is exposed it shall lead to further deterioration of the chimney. If repairing you may as well replace the fittings.

Sure you can. The Heatilator is still being manufactured today. That means you can still find parts for it even now. However it may be a bit pricey if it is an older model.

Your best bet is to contact Heatilator (phone# is online) and find out what dealers are near you. A dealer can advise you what's available based on your unit.

It's difficult to say. You would have to contact the manufacturer, but it's possible that they wouldn't be making the parts anymore if the model has been discontinued. Otherwise, you could try searching online for someone who has the parts.

Sure you can. As far as I know the Heatilator is still in production. Even if you couldn't find parts for it or it wasn't in production I'm sure you can find a used one and salvage parts from that one. Of course no one likes to so this and I wouldn't blame you for getting a new one.
