No. Not after the September 11th air disaster. A criminal record will keep you from being able to secure a job in several fields. Airline industry, medical industry, child care, teacher or any other profession that you would have a great deal of contact with the public.

@mpartin, I know plenty of nurses and care providers with a felony, I also know Jet Blue & Delta hire w/ a criminal record, maybe not for flight attendant, I am unsure of that, but for other positions. Just b/c u have a felony does not mean its over.  add a comment

It is possible to become a flight attendant with a criminal record but there may be difficulties along the way. You will need to explain why you have a criminal record including the circumstances and how you have changed. Depending on the offense you may not be qualified for hiring.

No, a flight attendant can not have a criminal record. When you are in the air you would not want to worry about the flight attendant stealing your belonging or highjacking the plan. It would not be fair to the passengers to have a criminal assist them while up in the air.

Yes, be a flight attendant has Nothing to do with a criminal record. You are not questioned for a criminal record if you are attending a flight.
