Actually this can be answered with two words; absolutely not! Drain fields and septic lands are needed for overflow of the septic tank. Would you swim in a septic tank?

My quick instinct would definetly be no. If septic land leaks onto the grass or playground, your children will be running all in and around that.

Yes, it can. However, the area directly above the septic tank and its pipes needs to be open so that it is accessible during repairs and can be dug up without having to move any playground equipment. This means no play equipment can be on top of the septic tank itself.

It can, but it is not safe. There is always a chance that the lid can crack. If you placed the playground on top of it, then you may get injuries from the cave in that happens when the lid falls in, or sewage on the kids that seeps out.

No. If a playground is put on top of septic land some of the overflow would get into the sand or grass and your children would be exposed to that.

It seems like it would lead to some severe lawsuits later down the road. There was a whole town around 'Love Canal' a couple decades ago that was built on some nasty land. It lead to severe sickness.

Spetic land and playgrounds do not fix. Septic lands can present potential biological hazards that would make a playgrounf unsafe.

I wouldn't put a playground on top of septic land. Besides the obvious health concerns, if there is a problem with the septic system the entire playground could have to be disassembled.
