Sometimes a child can have an extra teeth called the supernumerary teeth. If an extra teeth is found then radio graphs are taken and required treatment is given.

When you say extra teeth do you mean extra row? If that is the case then no but otherwise an individual can have up to 32 teeth in the mouth. It doesn't mean every person will have 32, some may have less as it varies from person to person. Overcrowding may make seem as if the child has extra teeth.

Yes, it is not uncommon for a kid to have extra teeth. If they become a problem, a dentist can easily pull them. If the extra teeth are adult teeth that are coming in, the dentist can pull them and then the child can get braces to even out the teeth that are supposed to be there.

Yes. There are cases where a child have extra teeth. It is called as middle tooth. Normaly it not giving any chewiing problem.
