There are no laws on how old you have to be to rent a car. However, many rental companies refuse to rent to younger people as a matter of policy. The minimum age varies by company; you may have to call around to find one that will rent to you, and you could find that none will.

Definitely yes you can rent a car if you have a driving license & the car renting company will ask you for your Identity proof, your driving license, credit card number and also some other informations before they give you the car.

The best place to look for this answer is in the general conditions of each company. Normally, it should be ok if you have a licence and credit card.

Most auto rental companies do have a minimum age requirement. Usually that varies from 18 to 25. There are some that will rent to under 25s but will charge an additional fee. Government and military employees may be exempt from the age limits. You should call around and compare rental policies and costs.
