Are there wind turbines in Michigan's thumb?

Yes, Michigan's thumb does have wind turbines. There are about 46 turbines still working in the townships of Sheridan and Bingham.

Yes, but the rattling noise is driving the owners crazy. The locals thought it was a great idea, until there were built, but never considered the noise.

Its possible that there are. Turbines if maintained correctly will function perfectly because they are powered by wind. If there is wind they are working well

I am unsure if there are wind turbines in Michigan's thumb because I don't live in Michigan nor do I go to school there.

Thirty five wind turbines have been built in Michigan`s thumb. The plan is to install up to 280 wind turbines in the next 20 years. According to the study, the thumb area has the highest energy production potential. Thats why the turbines should working very well.

There are currently about 46 wind turbines in the thumb of Michigan. While they provide a good source of renewable energy, the residents don't care for the noise they create.
