Are there self leveling compounds to create a level floor?

Yes, there are several self leveling compunds that you can mix and apply yourself. Remember to work towards the door, and leave approximately 3/8 of an inch around the edges. This will the floor to expand without damaging the finished floors or panels.

There are compound products out there for leveling but they are only intended for slight variations in the floor within a small area. If you have a large leveling problem, you will need to install some other type of board or replace the subfloor to get the floor truly level.

In the Antarctic & Arctic, (liquid H2O) water works quite-well (provided it does not freeze before leveling). Solidifying-before-leveling is Why All/Most-liquid-floor-compounds need to be "helped-a-little" to level-smooth with a float.

There is a spackling that is called floor leveler used for tiles. For wood floors they have sheeting that you use as a barrier and floor leveler for wood floors.
