There can be many side effects associated with wisdom tooth extraction. The most common side effects are swollen cheeks, pain, bleeding, and nausea from general anesthesia. Additionally, depending on the location of your teeth, there can also be numbness, nerve damage, or paralysis.

Wisdom tooth often gets impacted so needs extraction. The possible side effects associated with extraction are normally pain, swelling of the affected area, trismus and the patient may be advised to stay on liquid diet for a day or two. The affected area should not be rinsed thoroughly as it will dislodge the clot which will initiate bleeding

Usually the side effects are pain and swelling. Your dentist will provide pain medication for the several days after the extraction. You will want to only eat soft foods for about a week and you'll need to clean the holes that the removal of the teeth create. Those are usually the only side effects.

Yes, there are certain side effects with teeth extraction. First of all, the shape of the face gets changed and secondly the overall dental system goes weak with the extraction.
