Are retro refrigerators "in"?

I don't think so. I think retro refrigerators are tacky and take your kitchen back to an age of black and white television we'd sooner forget than remember. Those handles are oblong and gaudy. And the sizes were never big enough to properly store any large quantities of food on.

Retro is frequently in, but usually only if it matches the style of the kitchen decor. Great styles are vintage 50s and 60s. The downside is that many old refrigerators are not energy efficient. You may want to look for one that was built recently but with a retro look to save on your electric bill.
