Old coins are very valuable if they are not used or spent. Silver dollars have some value even if it is just sentimental. Keep them safe and in their original shape and the whole collection will be worth a lot.
Generally these coins are not that valuable. Non-mint coins as old as 1919 can be bought for around $30. Mint condition un-circulated ones may be worth slightly more.
